Happy New Year to skiers and snowshoers

Jan 4th all ski trails are groomed and trackset except the backcountry Elk Run.

8 AM it was -4C and by noon up to 0C with a spit of rain.

No new snow the last few days. Rescue sliders put out at the usual trail junctions.

Half a dozen trees down on trails that required chainsaw to remove.

Wet snow after xmas has several trees hanging over trail edges.
