McKinney Nordic
Ski Club
Home for snowshoers
McKinney Nordic Ski Club is a locally operated, non-profit and volunteer based snowshoe park located east of Oliver, BC en route to Mount Baldy Ski Resort. There are approximately 95 KM of marked snowshoe trails.
When the Ski Club was created in 1990, it was called Inkameep X-Country Ski Club and was located at mileage 21 on McKinney Rd. In 1995, the trails were moved to mileage 26 to take advantage of better snow conditions. Most of the ungroomed ski trails make use of old, unused logging roads. In 1997, the ski and snowboard park changed its name to McKinney Nordic Ski Club.
Currently, while we are in the process of funding our X-country trail system, we continue to be vigilant about keeping our snowshoe trails open with a fantastic group of snowshoe trail volunteers.
Come give them a try and you’ll be hooked on this great winter work out.

This is the turn off sign at mileage 26 that indicates that you have arrived at McKinney Nordic Ski Club. If one looks closely, it appears that someone was using our skier sign for target practice. Photo Credit: Neil Bousquet
