Groomer Al's Trail Report Dec 31, 2022

Happy New Year to Skiers and Snowshoers

Groomer Al has been slow this winter getting trails in shape with all the pre Christmas cold & rain & snow after Christmas.

There is about 30 cm of new snow with rain ice crust mixed in. -5C at 8:30 this morning and up to +5C by noon.

Parking lot cleared and Moose Loop / Dog Leg Loop and half of Coyote Flat groomed and trackset before it got too warm.

The snow started sticking to snowcat tracks / pan and tracksetters.

I will try to get rest of the trails groomed with an early morning run soon.

New signs put up replacing ones that went missing last summer.

AIM grader has pushed snow well off the road resulting in good winter driving.
