Groomer Al's trail update for Mon Jan 16

Hi Skiers and Snowshoers

Monday Jan 16th - I did a trail check.

The top 10cm of snow on trails is saturated with rain water and not frozen.

Snowcat can’t groom as snow packs to pure ice with warm temperatures and rain soaked snow.

Forecast saying we may get snow on Saturday that could be groomable.

There will be trees down on the trails from snow overloading.

Lets hope for cooler temperatures and some fresh drier snow.
